Led by our diversity and inclusion team, CIL aims to foster an inclusive work environment where everyone has the opportunity and support needed to develop and progress in their careers. Our activities in this area are constantly evolving and cover training, networking, outreach to underrepresented groups as well as other activities.

  • WOMEN IN CONSULTING
    Women in consulting

    Each year, we invite women from a range of universities to visit our offices to hear from individuals at all levels of the company about what it is like to work in management consulting and at CIL. During the day, we provide help on CVs and cover letters and run a case study and interview workshop. These insight days have been key to driving an increase in our female applicant numbers.

    UpReach

    Through CIL’s relationship with UpReach, we provide insight days, mentorship, work experience, internship and job opportunities to talented, and highly driven university students from less-advantaged backgrounds.

  • WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP
    Women in leadership

    CIL regularly runs women in leadership seminars for employees to meet and hear about the experiences of other women in senior positions in their field. Past speakers include a female Partner and Investment Managers from Graphite Capital; Group Secretary of M&S; Former MD at the EBRD; Partner at Livingbridge; Corporate Finance Partner from one of the top four accounting companies, and ex-Army and McKinsey Development Manager.

    CIL also work with expert organisations to run a range of training programmes, these include sessions on building the confidence of women in the workplace and unconscious bias training.
